The B.C. government has made the decision to begin the process of closing the office of the Auditor General of Local Government. Our efforts are currently focused on completing any outstanding audits and our office will no longer be accepting suggestions for new audits.

The timeline for wrapping up our work is still being determined and we want to reiterate our commitment to completing the audits that are in progress.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the staff and contractors who have provided their knowledge and dedication over the years. We look forward to our continued work with our partners in the community as we focus on the work yet to be done.
