About the AGLG
We helped local governments in B.C. make positive change in their communities.
Our goal was to help councils and boards do the best they can with the resources they have, delivering better services for their residents.
To do this, we audited the services they provided and gave advice on how those services may be improved. We also highlighted where they were doing good work, so that other local governments could learn from them, too.

Office Update
The Office of the Auditor General for Local Government has closed permanently as of March 31st, 2021.
We want to take this opportunity to thank the staff and contractors who have provided their knowledge and dedication over the years.
